MAC Impassioned Lipstick - Review and Swatches

I was lucky enough to receive MAC impassioned lipstick for my birthday last December, and oh my goodness i love it so much!

This lipstick is certainly not for those who like more subtle and neutral shades, its an incredibly bright pink that certainly makes itself known, being a massive fan of bright lips ( the brighter the better) this is perfect for me and I had my eye on it before I even tried a MAC lipstick.
Impassioned is one of MAC's Amplified creme finishes, its extremely pigmented and you only need one swipe across you lips for full opacity, the staying power of this lipstick is amazing, it lasts a good 5-6 hours even through eating a drinking! It feels really creamy and moisturizing on the lips without and of that drying feeling but being so creamy it means that Impassioned does bleed out a little bit but nothing a little lip liner wont solve.

The only downside is that it does catch on dry patches and this makes them stand out a bit more because the pigment of the lipstick is more intense in those areas so make sure you exfoliate first.
Overall I absolutely love this lipstick, with the high pigmentation and the incredible lasting power you cant really go wrong! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a bright lip.

Have you tried this lipstick? are you a bright or neutral lip person?

Nail designs I want to try

Hello lovelies!!!

I am forever looking online for new things to try with my nails, there is no surprise that i love painting my nails and doing nail art so I decided it would be nice to share with you a few things that are next on my list to try.

The really cute mini mouse ones are on top of my list to do first.
I am setting myself a cahllenge to paint my nails like the pictures and then to show you ( if they turn out ok!) in a Today's Nails post.

NARS oil-free eye makeup remover - Review

Hello lovelies!!!

I was very surprised to receive the NARS gentle eye makeup remover for Christmas, I didn't even know that NARS did and eye makeup remover so it was a shock, my mum brought it for me the same time she got the Ride up to the Moon palette (which i will review soon!)

This is by far not the cheapest eye makeup remover out their but I had tried so many that haven't worked (between me and you, I think my mum was fed up of me moaning about not been able to remove my mascara properly!) its a massive £18.50!
I absolutely love this product! it works wonders to remove my makeup. You have to give it a good shake to combine both parts and then tip some out onto a cotton pad, I the hold it on my eye for a few seconds and wipe it away, eye shadow melts off instantly and stubborn waterproof mascara takes a few swipes before every last bit of it is removed. The liquid does separate quite quickly so I give it shake before I move onto my other eye.
All shaken up!

It is really easy to control how much comes out of the bottle because of the type of cap it has on, it lets the liquid out in drops but with a gentle squeeze a small stream of liquid can come out.
Another really great thing about NARS eye makeup remover is that if it goes into your eyes it doesn't sting at all, it does feel a bit oily on the skin which I find particularly strange since it says its oil-free but that doesn't bother me as it comes off easy with my face wash afterwards
Overall I am super impressed with this, I do save it for when I wear waterproof mascara only because its so expensive but I would definitely buy it again as its the only thing I've tried that's actually worked!

Have you tried this? would you buy it?

NYC Expert Last Lipstick Blue Rose review and swatch + I'm Back!!

Hello Lovelies!!!

I have had this lipstick for absolutely ages now and I love it. The lipstick in question is the wonderful NYC Expert Last lipstick in Blue Rose.
I am a huge fan of bright lipsticks, I wear more bright than I do neutral so when I saw this it was extremely obvious I was going to buy it and best of all its only £1.99 which makes me very happy indeed.

Blue rose is an extremely bright pink which has very visible blue undertones which really helps in making my teeth look much whiter. NYC Blue Rose is really pigmented and with one swipe you have full opacity, it goes on really easy and doesn't feel at all drying on the lips, it last for about 2-3 hours before touch up.
When wearing this lipstick I tend to stick with really neutral eyes for obvious reasons of it being so bright and in your face! Also I get a lot of people complement me on it saying how lovely it looks whenever I wear it.
The only not so great thing about it is that the lipstick doesn't go all the way inside the tube, so more often than not I hit it when I am putting the lid back on.
Overall I love this lipstick so much, the great pigmentation, the amazing colour and how white it makes my teeth look!  and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a bright lip and with it being only £1.99 you cant go wrong!

On another note I'm extremely glad to be back into the blogging world, I haven't blogged for a really long time now due to excess college work (thanks to my tutor feeling mean haha) and also a great lack of cooperating internet, but now the Internets working expect to see much more of me again! :)

Have a wonderful day!
